Personal Information You Provide

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Create a notary profile: Business name, professional photo, service descriptions, pricing, service area, commission details, and business address
  • Submit a booking request: Name, contact information, document type, location, and preferred appointment time
  • Contact us: Name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message
  • Leave a review: Name, rating, review text, and profile information
  • Subscribe to services: Payment information (processed by our payment processors; we do not store complete credit card numbers)

Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the Platform, we automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device and Log Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, and pages viewed
  • Usage Data: Search queries, filters applied, profiles viewed, clicks, and interactions with the Platform

  • To facilitate connections between Customers and Notary Partners

  • To send service-related communications, including booking confirmations, reminders, and account notifications
  • To respond to inquiries, provide customer support, and resolve disputes
  • To personalize your experience and improve our services
  • To send marketing communications, newsletters, and promotional offers (you may opt out at any time)
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security breaches, and technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Other Users: Notary Partner profiles, including business name, photo, services, pricing, and contact information, are publicly visible on the Platform to help Customers find and book notary services. Customer names and contact details may be shared with Notary Partners when a booking request is submitted.
  • Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), database hosting (Supabase), email delivery, SMS messaging (Twilio), analytics, cloud hosting (Cloudflare), and customer support.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Supabase: Database, authentication, and user management
  • Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions and transactions
  • Google Maps Platform: Location services, geocoding, and mapping
  • Twilio: SMS notifications and messaging
  • Cloudflare: Web hosting, content delivery, and security

  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
